The Lyon County Museum is an awesome small museum with much to see. It provides a very good representation of local history with entertaining and informative tours of the buildings. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. The displays are great. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated. It is a place history or pop culture fans need to visit and will not be disappointed by.

This place is deceiving! There is soooo much to see!!! The volunteers there were very friendly and informative. Free to enter but definitely leave them a donation. You will not be disappointed stopping by.
So much history, totally amazing. The museum is a lot bigger than it looks and so many neat things. I will be going back soon, so much to see. If ever in Yerington Nevada, a must visit. The staff were very informative and answered all questions. Thank you Tom.
