About Toana Vista Golf Course
Toana Vista Golf Course offers an enjoyable experience with a fun course and nice shopping and swag options. The staff, particularly Charles, is very helpful and kind. While some may find the landscape unimpressive on a rainy day, the people at the club house are welcoming. The course is well-conditioned and offers 18 holes of fun. It's a great option for those in the area, even surpassing other courses in the region like White Pine. With its convenient location, it's a great place to visit and play golf.
The layout is very good. We were the 2nd 2-some out. Some spots in fairways where grass is thin and marked “Ground under repair” 👍🏻 Greens are large with slope. Bunkers had been raked and had good amount of sand. HOWEVER The pro-shop guy this AM was another story. I asked IF they had a Sr rate. You would have think I asked for free golf. We were not informed there were free range balls for our use. No mention that the greens were just sanded or any discount for that. When we were hitting 2nd shots on #9 we saw a 4 some teeing off on #10. WTF? When we stopped at the turn we asked if we were ok to make the turn or if he was going to send any other 9 hole groups in front of us? Also asked if he told them to let us play thru? He said to ask IF we caught them. Well on 11 we were waiting to tee off while the group hit 3rd or 4th shots to green. They waited for us on 12 tee. I know courses need to make as much revenue as possible before season ends but sending a 4 to #10 with 2 in #9 fairway is not the way to do so. They lost revenue from us. No pro shop or post round beverage purchase by us.
AWESOME AND EASY COURSE..
It's a great layout and enough tee boxes for every caliber of player. The y have good tournaments available thru out the summer.
