Nevada JobConnect offers a welcoming environment and helpful staff. The receptionist provides a nice and friendly first impression. Trained professionals assist with making resumes and finding employment, taking the time to understand individual needs and circumstances. The center provides resources such as free computer, fax, and copy services, as well as assistance with obtaining essential items like food and clothing. With a good attitude and identification, individuals can access these services and gain support in achieving their job goals. The staff is described as amazing, resourceful, and providing excellent customer service.
EmployNV provided me the opportunity to obtain my Class A CDL. My caseworker was Ms. Jennifer Presley. I thought the process would take a lot longer than it did. I had to put in some footwork. But I was able to obtain funding within a month. And start classes the next month. Ms. Presley was also helpful in helping build my profile resume and provide job leads before I started classes. Amaya & the entire staff at Nevada JobConnect are truly amazing & resourceful! Love the customer service as soon as I entered the door. There is a plethora of resources & services. I was luckily provided with their information when I was calling agencies to get a required/certified typing test completed. Everyone is awesome there!
At first I was skeptical,my first time coming and nervous.The receptionist was nice and welcoming.Mila helped me make a resume and was extremely helpful and kept asking me questions, didn't rush me and actually really made me feel comfortable and was really trying to help me find employment.I just had heart surgery and have to change the type of work I was used to and I believe with her help and my will power and the resources here it will happen.I would definitely recommend this Job Center .Thankfully, Johnny Twito
