I purchased a Silverado home on Dayton Valley Golf course. I've owned 6 houses in my life. This is by far the worst built home I've ever owned. I'm amazed at the corners they cut and lack of quality. The floors creak, the drywall is substandard, peeling, the outside stucco has bare spots, the paint is horrible. For a brand new house I'm extremely disappointed. They must use scab labor instead of quality subcontractors.

We purchased a home from them and from day one we had nothing but problems. Terrible customer service from Deb at the office...no follow through, no nothing, many, many mistakes, unbelievable! I would think twice before purchasing with this builder.

I thought "Bait and Switch" was outlawed or dead......Nope.......it is alive and well in the Sales Plan being used by Silverado Homes. Had a brochure from Silverado Homes listing the home we wanted at $370,900. We negotiated a successful loan for the Full Amount with a Lender who has a lot of experience in VA Loans. Being a retired Veteran with a credit score of over 800, I figured it would be easy to seal the purchase. Nope, when I approached the Sales Office with their Price List in hand, I was advised that the base Plan 1, Model B now required that WE include the Patio in the deal at an additional cost of $10,000 + we would have to also Pay an "Elevation... read full review
