I LOVE this store. We're in here at least one or two times a week. It's a true neighborhood store - the staff greet us like friends and ask about our dogs! The customer service is amazing - the girls in the paint department are especially excellent! Yes it's a bit more expensive than Home Depot and Lowe's but it's really not by the time you've paid gas to drive to Carson, and the expertise and help you get in Louie's Ace are priceless.
