I feel very fortunate to have found such a good professional. Meeting Erin Douglas was exactly such an experience. I’d like to share my thoughts from a professional point of view. As a psychologist working in the field of neurodivergence, I notice and sense things that can be especially important for neurodivergent clients. I know that, because of their heightened sensory sensitivity, many of them tend to avoid physical touch – even necessary procedures. What I want to say is that Erin is extremely attentive and highly sensitive to her client’s movements and reactions. This is very important, because a good massage is not about verbal communication; it’s about deep, focused attention and the client being able to immerse themselves in their own bodily signals, while the professional can sense and respond to these without the client having to say anything. This is very demanding and tiring work, even before you consider the actual physical effort of the massage itself. Erin truly has this capacity. Because of that, you can fully place yourself in her professional hands and get the best possible results. If you are a highly sensitive person, if your work involves a lot of sitting, and you want to feel light in your body again, Erin can support you both professionally and on a deeply human level.
