Pictou Veterinary Clinic is a compassionate and caring facility dedicated to the well-being of animals. The staff is known for their friendly and professional service, making clients feel comfortable during difficult times, such as losing a pet. Many appreciate the promptness of appointments, with quick availability for procedures like neutering. While the clinic is currently not accepting new clients, this reflects their commitment to providing quality care. However, some visitors have noted minor inconveniences, like waiting outside in cold weather without prior notice. Overall, the clinic is highly recommended for its dedicated team, particularly Dr. Brenda, who is recognized for her compassion and thoroughness.
We had to take our puppy in for her second set of set of needles, and asked to get her microchipped, and a couple other needles. We arrived for our visit a little early, but was taken into a room on time. All the staff were wonderful, from the front reception, to the vet tech (?) who took the initial information, to the Vet herself. She listened to everything we had to say: answering all our questions. It was a great visit. Very comfortable recommending Pictou Vet to anyone needing one.

Pets are part of the fabric of many homes; they are family. They deserve the best food, care and medical attention that we can afford to give them. The team at the Pictou Veterinary Clinic fill that need for our furry family perfectly.

When I called they aren't taking new clientele, which is good and shows they care, bad because it's closer to me and having to find a vet has been harder than I thought. I've heard great things about this vet maybe one day our dog will see them.
