Should have read the reviews before going here for our taxes. Taxes for us were complicated this year so decided to get them done professionally instead of doing it ourselves like we normally do. Well when we do it ourselves they’re done in an hour. It’s been a full month since we met with Doug and still nothing. Every time we call to check in it’s no answer or “we’ll look at it this weekend” - 3 weekends in a row. Unacceptable.

I had a bad experience with this company a few years ago where they lost my return for a while (I had to wait 4 months for my money) so I was hesitant to go back but when I did my own taxes last year I got very little back so I decided to risk going back to H&R Block in New Minas this year. I'm so glad I did! Doug did my taxes very fast, he also got me more money from an adjustment to the year before when I did my own. He was very friendly and helpful. Literally, I was there for about 5 minutes and both returns were done. The taxes were filed right away and CRA said my refund should be here within 3 weeks. Doug was incredible. Never will go here again. They have messed up my taxes several times and included someone elses T4 in my income tax! Have tried several times to contact someone to fix it and I never get an answer.
