Absolutely PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE! Solomon was our guide and she was very young but extremely knowledgeable of Earthship Biotecture everything because she has been living in, training in, and building Earthships since she was a teenager. DO NOT MISS THIS if you have even a passing interest in ecology, the environment, sustainability, off-grid living, and recycling garbage for building truly whimsical, radically ethical homes.
The guided tour was incredible! You get to see four different earthships of different generations, the guide was very well informed and engaging. As others have mentioned, you should avoid the self-guided tour, which mostly consists of information placards.
I've wanted to visit the Earthship community for 18 years. Yesterday, I went for a self guided tour.
It's very educational and inspiring, as well as artistic.
