Had a wonderful time at the Easter gathering. A few of the older employees were a bit rude but im sure they were tired from getting things together. All in all they did a fabulous job!!! Thank you!!
About Los Vecinos Community Center
The Los Vecinos Community Center offers a variety of engaging activities, including fun homeschool classes held four days a week. The staff puts a lot of effort into their programming and is praised for their patience and dedication, especially during the great summer activities. The center is currently undergoing a renovation project, and visitors look forward to seeing the improvements. While the fields are under construction, the park is a nice space, though the over-watering has led to some mushroom growth. Overall, the community center is a valuable resource for local families.

New skatepark is nice and smooth but obviously designed by someone who doesn't actually skate. With a few more corners, hips or speed bumps in the right places you could actually pump through the whole park instead of now where that flow just dies out. The high quarter that runs the length of the back is just wasted concrete, there is no way to get speed to make use of it. The mini ramp section is ok, could have been great but it needed either another foot or 2 on the flat bottom or lower the quarters a bit to be right. A nice park, but they tend to over-water the grass, so it's soaking in the morning. And growing mushrooms.
They just started a renovation project, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
