The Early Birds AA group meets every day of the year and frequently has AA members from other cities attend when they are in town visiting family or for other travel reasons. At the club, the coffee is decent, there's bottled water available in the refrigerator, and the meetings are welcoming, for both AA and Al-anon. Cookout potlucks are held every year for Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day, at 1:00 p.m. At Thanksgiving, turkeys are served, and there is often an evening party around Christmas.
