Spending a couple of weeks in Ruidoso in our motorhome and I was in need of a haircut. Some friends of ours have been here over a month, so I asked him where he gets his haircut. He looked at me and said "do not go where I did, they totally butchered me." While driving through town, I noticed a small building with the sign "Barber". I went in and found the TV playing "Rawhide" reruns. A few minutes later, Ronnie, the owner, walks in and we get started. I was happy with my haircut and gave him 15 bucks for the $12.00 haircut. He's been there for 25 or 30 years. If you are visiting Ruidoso and need a haircut, give Ronnie a visit. Nice, personable guy and a good barber. It's a true, old fashioned barbershop.

This old school barber shop has seen better days; it does have a friendly barber. My son and I both got a haircut and both got something very different than what we requested. The fade job on my son's haircut was patchy, not consistent in length. I requested a 4 on the sides and scizzor cut top, but he cut with 4 all the way to the top and left a small patch of long hair near the front top. I also got 3 bleeding cuts from the straight razor. I recommend going somewhere else.
