I am so pleased .i just moved here and happened to find this shop.Heather gave me a great hair cut today. I have very long hair which can be intimidating to some. She took off 7inches and layered with ease. It feels and looks great! Thanks again. I will be back!

This place seems to do a good job on men's haircuts. I've tried a couple places in Ruidoso and was not too happy with the others. I have not had any issues with Shear Desire. The hair stylists are really nice and sociable. There's normally two people there so there is often a wait. The only down side is that there aren't any appointments available. Although they seem to get through the line quickly the lack of appointments can make it a bit time consuming. This will continue to be my place of choice.

The best hairdresser I've ever been to. Went to her by chance because I needed a trim asap. She did a great job and she was super fast. Went back when I decided to cut my mid back length hair into a pixe cut and she did an outstanding job. I've been going to her for a couple years now, but last year I moved 2 hours away. I went to several hairdressers in my new town, but no one came close. I now drive the 2 hours back to Ruidoso just to get my hair cut because she is the absolute best!
