Based on customer reviews, House of Tailors is a small business where the owner does all the work herself. She is described as a miracle worker who provides amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail. Customers bring in items like wedding outfits and military clothing, often at the last minute. She has a calm manner and a sweet smile, and she is always friendly. The owner can fix zippers better than new and makes clothes fit perfectly, even when customers thought there was no way. However, the shop is very busy, so expect to wait a while. It is worth the time. Customers have been coming here for up to seven years.
She is so nice. We've been taking clothes for alterations since she opened.
She works alone so don't expect her to do a rush job. She may not have your items ready on the expected date. Be patient. She does excellent work and will make adjustments if you bring it to her attention within a reasonable time period.
I had to get a wedding outfit tailored cause it wouldn’t fit around the bust. SUPER LAST MINUTE!!!…I stopped by Thursday afternoon, and wedding was that Saturday…she not only did it in a short amount of time, but it fits wonderfully. I’m disabled, and don’t care for weddings, so to be comfortable in something I enjoy wearing meant more than most will understand. And always remember to tip small businesses who do you favors like this!!!! I feel so good in this outfit ❤️🥲
Kathy always does a excellent job on my clothing that I bring her. It amazes me that she does all her work her self. I always call first before picking up anything because she is so busy it sometimes needs to be ready one day latter which I have learned from all the years I have been going to her.
