The vet’s assistant was very thorough with the treatment plan and the Doctor was very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Powers is absolutely amazing, and was even super forgiving when a toddler was doing her best to take over one of the dogs’ check-ups. She always carefully explains everything she is doing and discusses all of your options when it comes to caring for your pet in a positive and uplifting way. Coronado Pet Hospital is highly recommended for anyone seeking dedicated and loving care for their furry, feathered, or scaled companions.
My Australian Shepherd began having frequent seizures while driving cross country. I was in New Mexico when he had one and I quickly googled near by veterinarians. Coronado came up with great reviews and within 30 minutes. I called and they worked wonders and fit my boy in their busy schedule. Everyone was incredibly nice...the receptionist, tech and vet! I am beyond thankful!
Every time I’ve brought my cat or accompanied my mom with her dogs, the staff has been absolutely wonderful! Dr. Powers is absolutely amazing, and was even super forgiving when my toddler was doing her best to take over one of the dogs’ check-ups. She always carefully explains everything she is doing and discusses all of your options when it comes to caring for your pet in a positive and uplifting way. She always makes me leave feeling educated and confident and not upsold like other vets I’ve had in the past. I literally cannot say enough good things about her. I spoke to Amanda on the phone trying to find a vet that would see my pup for a somewhat urgent but non-emergent situation because my usual vet was booked out for over a month and she was so sweet, caring, and helpful. Even though they weren’t able to take in new patients at the moment she went above and beyond to answer my questions, ease my concerns, and gave me numerous other resources I could go to if my vet couldn’t see my pup sooner. I appreciate this so much and would highly recommend this facility as they make it very obvious they actually care about their patients and pet parents!
