I went today with my hair a Disaster mess, and Pearl cut, colored, highlighted and styled my hair. She was such a professional and very sweet lady. She made me feel so at ease. Definitely the best women's haircut in Los Alamos, though I'm not sure there's really much competition on that front. I have had a hard time finding a good salon since moving here from the Kansas City area and I am satisfied with Pearl's salon. Pearl does do a good job and has options for hair products she uses, such as organic or sensitive options. She's also the first hair dresser I've encountered who actually advises her clients to eat healthy and exercise over buying some product, as that strategy makes your hair healthy and healthy hair is beautiful hair, independent of what style you choose. I'm definitely on board with that philosophy and it's refreshing to have a hairdresser who isn't trying to push some super expensive bottle of serum that probably doesn't work on me! She's cash or check only, though, so make sure you have that payment option on you. Overall, I would recommend Pearl to anyone and she's the only person I'll go to in Los Alamos. If you want a relaxing, no hassle experience, Pearl is the best place to go.
