I used Granite Mountain for the past few years and have become increasingly dissatisfied.
First, they added a deduction to one of my returns that should not have been taken. I understand that mistakes happen. When they do, I simply expect acknowledgment and accountability. They attempted to fix it and helped me pay the associated underpayment. However, the IRS continued to inform me that there was still an amount owed. Daniel said not to worry about it after I brought it up a few times. Long story short, the IRS charged me a penalty of about $900 and hundreds of dollars of interest. I’ve been using Granite Mountain accounting for over 5 years now and Bill and his team are amazing. I was fortunate enough to use his location in Flagstaff & Las Cruces due to military moves and continue to use them from Alaska! I’m so thankful that they are efficient and everyone on the team is so friendly. I was working with Megan on our 2024 taxes and she spent so much time talking me through everything. I cannot express how helpful and kind she was to spend that much time during their busy season! I’d give them 10 stars if I could!
