Beautiful little Inn with lovely rooms, grounds, and pool. Two minute walk down to the river. No service of any kind, self check-in, but lovely huge common room and kitchenette for prepping easy micro meals of your own, as well as some simple prepared and ready to eat things provided for breakfast. Setting and rooms are immaculate, and they more than make up for the place’s other weaknesses. It’s clean, faces the mesas, has a beautiful pool, hot tub and stunning courtyard with koi pond. Peaceful, serene, spectacular.
Their weakness is breakfast and service. They used to prepare fresh food, but now it’s frozen Jimmy Dean biscuits in plastic and cheap grocery store muffins. Food is adequate — aka, you won’t die— but does not match the setting or live up to what this place should be and has offered. Thank you for the care with which you have given us. The room was clean and perfect, the shard courtyard was lovely and relaxing and the pool was so nice we never bothered to go into town to use the hot springs. It truly was a retreat from stress. We will be coming again.
