Rattlesnake Avoidance Training -
My dog and I took the Rattlesnake Avoidance Training at Jane Trains.
There are two methods to teach a dog to stay away from Rattlesnakes, one is a sharp shock with a stimulator collar (Aversion training) and the other is training an alert behavior (Avoidance). I chose the method where the dog alerts the owner when a snake is present and they both avoid the snake.

Jane was an incredible asset to us and I cannot recommend her more! We took our 2 year old male cattle dog husky mix to her for help with some guarding and possessive behavior knowing we didn’t want to subject him to the e-collar type obedience training. Jane was such a help with understanding his emotions that led to the reactions and how we can mitigate the behavior by changing his emotional state gently and ethically.
