About Cochiti Golf Club
Cochiti Golf Club, an 18-hole public golf course in Cochiti Lake, New Mexico, offers a challenging and scenic round of golf. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the course is often ranked as one of the best in New Mexico. The high desert terrain provides a unique and beautiful backdrop for play. The course is well-maintained, though some areas of the course are in rough shape, with greens that can have dead spots and greens that are fast and slick. The rough is tall in many places, making it difficult to find balls and clubs. Some tee boxes are dirt or full of weeds. The staff is friendly and strives to provide a good experience, but the course could use some improvements, especially in maintaining the fairways, greens, and bunkers. After a round, golfers can relax at the Stone Kiva Bar and Grill, enjoying the views and a comfortable atmosphere. Despite current challenges, the club shows a commitment to making improvements and providing a pleasant experience for visitors.
