Had a glasses emergency and this place got me in and got me glasses quick! They have helped my kids and my husband in the same fast manor. The most friendly helpful staff I have ever dealt with at any eye Dr! I definitely recommend to anyone looking for glasses in the Clovis area.

HANDS DOWN BEST IN TOWN!It simply never fails to amaze me that most prescriptions provided by optometrists have been so far off from what I've actually needed. Eye exams at the optometrist always seem rushed, and new prescriptions usually cause more confusion than clarity. It has been my experience that optometrists spend as little time with the patient as possible. I normally get the impression they are more focused on their sales pitch for whatever is in the display case or on the display wall. Any mention of shopping elsewhere has been immediately met with scorn and disdain.I have been a customer of Optical Source in Clovis, NM since 2010. In that time, Optical Source has never failed to deliver. I believe Optical Source is truly committed to help its customers. I have never felt rushed or neglected. Optical Source employees are always friendly, polite, and professional. They routinely go out of their way to provide top-notch customer service. At Optical Source, I always feel I'm being treated like a human being; instead of a nondescript profit point on some spreadsheet. They walk the walk, not just talk the talk.Ray, the owner of Optical Source, is an Optician. In contrast to the optometrists I have seen in the past, Ray actually listens, and pays attention to what I have to say. There is dialog, not derision - Example 1: Ray searched the globe for a replacement arm to fix my old discontinued Oakley's. He found the last one available in Italy, and had it shipped to Optical Source to repair my frames. Good as new! - Example 2: On several occasions, after my new prescription from the optometrist failed, Ray replaced my lenses until the best solution was found without additional expense to me. I think it is almost like a challenge for Ray, and he doggedly is determined to fix the problem. 100% commitment to the customer. - Example 3: Getting older... I recently have been having difficulty seeing clearly at any distance. Even after multiple prescriptions from multiple optometrists in multiple cities in both New Mexico and Texas, no one has been able to help me. I was always told, the prescription was the best I could expect. It didn't matter the only way I could read was stacking readers on top of my prescription glasses. Feeling discouraged, one afternoon I sat in front of my computer, and stared at the letter "O" for 5-10 minutes trying to figure out exactly what I was seeing. To my amazement, I finally realized the letter "O" wasn't blurry or out of focus. The problem was that I was seeing triple and quadruple. Instead of seeing a single letter, I was seeing 3-4 letters overlapping each other until they were a jumbled mess of various shades of black, grey, and white. The smaller the font, the more difficulty I had distinguishing one "O" from the other. I was dumbfounded. How could all the optometrists have missed this? Surely one of those fancy machines or Professional Degrees on the wall, or maybe even the actual optometrist or assistant might have discovered this problem. Nope, not a single one of them. I have to wonder, if each eye is tested and corrected independently, is that supposed to imply my overall vision will be corrected when looking through both eyes at the same time? I don't know the answer to that question, but I don't think that approach worked for me. I live two hours drive from Clovis NM, so I made an appointment to see Ray at Optical Source for the following week. As Ray patiently listened as I described what I was seeing, he kept looking back at my prescription. He then speculated the astigmatism might be different in each of my eyes. I asked if there was anything he could do? He went in the back room, and built a custom pair of glasses with multiple lenses that looked like something out of a SciFi movie to test his hypothesis. I put them on, and the improvement was definitely noticeable, but not perfect. The SciFi glasses simply needed a few more tweaks. Now my vision is corrected to 20/20 with normal frames and lenses. I can see mo
