“In October my control panel went out for my radiant floor heater. Some companies were booked out for 2 weeks. Home Plumbing and Heating sent someone out the next day. They found the tank also needed replaced because it was leaking. It wasn’t a surprise because it was 20 years old. Frank (the owner) came out the next business day to get all the information for an estimate. It took him about a week to get us an estimate because he’s short handed like every business. After that we paid half and he ordered the whole unit for us. It took about a week to come in. His bid was lower than another company we had come out. I called about 12 companies and only could get 3 to come out within a 2 week timeframe to give us an estimate for a replacement. Another company’s estimate was lower but there was some wording in it that made it sound like they could add on and make it cost a lot more. Also the 3rd company took a week to come out and then over 2 weeks to get us an estimate. The two guys that Frank sent out to install the unit were very nice and worked hard to get heat back into our house. It was a very long drawn out situation but I’m so glad to have a new boiler system that is still working great.“
