Absolutely loved Amy as my hairdresser. This is the first time I’ve gone to a salon in years and she was such a bubbly fun girl who knew exactly what she was doing. can’t wait to come back!
I just visited sound salon spa and I did not enjoy my experience. They washed my hair even though I did not want it washed. I arrived with still wet hair. They charged me for services I did not want. They do not know how to communicate before they cut. My hair will grow back, and my scalp will be itchy until I can wash it again. Which will make the 3rd time in one day. They treat their customers so unfairly. They were quick to tell me my card declined due to lack of funds, and I should have said yes because I only planned on paying so much. I would not mind paying 110 for a hair cut if it was good, but I must have been reading the wrong website that said a haircut was only 35 dollars. But rest assured with a days pay you too can look like someone cut your hair in the shape of a bowl. They called me back today perhaps in efforts to rectify the issue. But again due to lack of communication skills they made it worse. The woman argued with me. I felt harassed. My blood pressure got elevated. The conversation got heated. The stylist I talked to had an excuse ready for every issue. She provided everything but acknowledgement that she made any mistake. She failed to listen to me again, talked over me, raised her voice. She offered the classic “I’m sorry you felt that way, a refund, and to recut.” She has harassed me first thing in the morning, and upset me. The amount of money that she would have to offer would not make me feel any better. I wish she wouldn’t have called me, or to at least have been more civil given the nature of the call. Perhaps too she could have waited until later in the day. But I truly feel that this woman needs to go to some sort of training on how to communicate as to not hurt other people in the same way she has hurt me. edit: my boyfriend called today because he saw how upset I was. The lady argued with him too. The stylists solution was to ban us from ever entering the salon.
