We cannot thank the team at Old Perlican Hospital enough for the exceptional care we received during a very frightening time during our visit home (Job’s Cove). From the moment we arrived, the nurses — Elaine, Laura, Heather, and Martina — went above and beyond to make sure Lori was cared for with professionalism, compassion, and genuine kindness. They were calm, skilled, and reassuring in every interaction.
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the paramedics, Meghan and Kelly. Their expertise, efficiency, and caring approach made all the difference during a very stressful experience.
On our second visit, we were cared for by a physician who was not only highly competent but also compassionate and approachable, with a wonderful sense of humor that helped ease a very stressful situation.
