My mother Florence Hirschfeld was laid to rest beside our father William Hirschfeld this morning January 29th 2024 at this cemetery. I was joined by my brother and 3 sisters along with our children and grandchildren at the chapel where pastor gave a wonderful service under God. After the service we all gathered around our father's grave where we found a hole dug out and dirt in a bucket. Then along came the most rude insensitive cemetery worker with my mom's ashes. He was put out visibly irritated when I asked him if my sister could put some of my father's ashes she had with my mom. I hope someone treats him with more dignity at his funeral than he did at my parents....read full review

Though my father and uncles who honorably served in WW2 are not buried here, I visit here 2x per year to salute and say their names and of those that as I walk by their final resting place. Stangers, no, heros and comrades, yes. I have chosen this site to rest when my time is up. The BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery is the most beautiful and reverent resting place for all those who served this great country.
