Our dog came in with a left dislocated hip. We were so concerned, and upset with the fact that he had to have such extensive surgery. However, as soon as we met with Dr. Halper, our minds were completely at ease. He was thorough, and explained things very clearly. He was so compassionate and respectful, and definitely made us feel sure that we wanted our dog to be treated by him. When our dog got to the OR, he called us and let us know that his right hip was also dislocated and had to be put back as well. I walked in not knowing what was wrong with my 16 year old dog. When I walked In with my wife without saying one word the staff at the front desk IMMEDIATELY knew something was wrong and seen hero immediately without missing a beat. Doctor was very knowledgeable and compassion and gave us the decision we needed. These people LOVE animals and it shows. Please do not listen to any negative reviews just like human hospital this place runs as it should. Highly recommend
