Frank Redrow from Daniel Robert’s remodeling and his employee did a wonderful job replacing the gable vents on both sides of my house. Not only did they answer my phone call on a Sunday morning (which I never expected) but they were able to install the replacements a couple days later. A++++ and highly recommended!!
In your About Us: “Our Story” section of your website, you describe your business philosophy devoted to integrity, timeliness, craftsmanship, and professionalism. That is a remarkable promise, and you kept it, and went above and beyond. Your team, beginning with Aimee, worked brilliantly with us to create two comfortable, safe and beautiful bathrooms in a century old house with architectural eccentricities we had never imagined! Aimee worked with us to choose the details and preliminary layout for both projects. Her support when we went to Bellmawr Plumbing Supply to choose our fixtures and details was invaluable. She guided us to products and decisions that were within our aesthetic and that resulted in simple elegance once in place. Her recommendations for safety features and design were extremely helpful. Justin and J.T. began the process by preparing our home for the extensive demolition with care, respect, and incredible kindness, making sure that there would be as little impact on our day to day lives during the subsequent demolition of two significantly large areas of our home. They installed a “Zip wall” (a brilliant solution for dust reduction) and placed exhaust fans. J.T. constant cleared debris and accommodated my safe movements through the construction zone; he then concluded each day with a massive daily clean-up that left us with clean floors and minimal dust accumulation; he was so very kind and hardworking! Justin checked in with me frequently, answering questions and helping me make decisions as the first bathroom was completed. Justin’s attention to detail and his intentional desire to meet all of the realistic expectations for remodeling our old house is totally appreciated. He took time to check in with both of us about our concerns and made us feel as in control as you can be when dealing with an old house. His input on particular architectural features and his attention to not just completing the task, but doing it with an eye to aesthetics, was appreciated by both of us, as we truly love the design of our house. When we ran into some roadblocks, like the inability to put in a pocket door, and replacing a couple of heating elements, he worked with me to find an acceptable solution for both that was consistent with the basic structures in our house. His knowledge about plaster repair, ancient electrical issues, and other details, like molding and carpentry that are found in older construction is an invaluable set of skills that are difficult to find. He helped us find a person who could help with our heating system and to keep the details that we love intact, while updating everything. I would like to also comment on and applaud the amazing teamwork I observed every day on this job. For a few days, Clark, who also has expertise in really old houses, came to facilitate some technical challenges with the framing, to insure a perfect placement of the new walk-in shower among other idiosyncrasies in the hall bathroom space and to check to see if a pocket door would be realistic. Dave showed up to remove windows, help with dry wall, do the exterior work to replace siding, and help with details for several days. Several other members of your team were here for one week expediting the project to bring it in on time. I would like to thank Dan, Rick, Joe and Kenny for stepping in to convert the tiny utility closet-sized stall shower and mini-sink into the stunning space that is now our master en-suite bathroom and deal with plumbing and electric concerns. You guys are all super-stars in my book. I can’t thank you all enough. You made my vision a reality and it looks better than I could have imagined.
