Having been patients with Summit Medical for over 30 years, my wife and I are very satisfied with the level of care we have received from Dr. Calcara and his staff. Dr. Calcara takes the time to really know his patients. In an emergency, we have always been able to see him quickly. The health and well being of his patients is paramount to him.

I would also like to commend Ida Ortiz, the nurse supervisor in the Elmer St. office, who we have known for over 20 years. She is very competent and dedicated to her job. The doctor and nurses during my visit were very thorough and nice. However, when I had an issue with my prescription, the member of the office staff with whom I spoke was very rude. She wouldn't let me finish my questions/statements and then hung up on me. Extremely rude for no reason.
