So... where do I start? As a first-year student in one of NYC's competitive musical theatre programs and studying in the Mecca of all things professional theatre, I found a voice teacher who was patient with me and helped me grow as an artist. Ms. Lisa has been a key contributor to my success! She taught me how to walk into a room and introduce myself, sustain healthy vocal techniques while using my authentic voice, and reassured me through all my doubts as a senior in high school transitioning to college, reminding me that I deserved to pursue this amazing art form. We are so fortunate to have found Theater steps and can’t say enough good things. My child absolutely enjoys every session and being part of this great program. Mrs. Lisa is a complete blessing and helps build confidence, my child who can be a little timid has blossomed all thanks to Mrs. Lisa continuous support, patience, dedication and most importantly making it fun to learn.
I have been going to Theater Steps and have had Ms. Lisa as my voice teacher for the past few years, and I couldn’t be more thankful. The growth I have had as a person and performer is something I am so grateful for and I owe it all to Ms.Lisa, she brings out the best in me, I highly recommend her for anyone that wants to improve as a musician and performer, all of her experience with being in the industry has taught me a lot over the years and it feels wonderful to have her as a teacher and to know she is truly on my team and supports me through everything!!
