I had an appt for a manicure and pedicure. They did the manicure first. Then, left me waiting for 20 minutes with my feet in water as a Caucasian woman who came in long after me got an immediate pedicure. Unbelievable.
Edit: I also made an appointment. No excuse for waiting 20 min to “soak”.

I’ve been coming here for several years and overall the experience has been favorable. Last few times I’ve been assisted by this woman who is looking at everything around her except the work she is doing and cut the skin deep on my pinky toe to the point where it hurts and I pulled back my foot. The rude woman started laughing and didn’t think it was serious because there was no blood. I will cross the street next time and go somewhere else. The owner and place is nice and clean but not worth my time or money.

I recently got a gel dip manicure at New Village Nails in Caldwell NJ. I had a horrible experience. The day after getting my nails done, one of my nails chipped and I had to go back the next day to get it fixed. The next day 2 of my nails had polish that had fallen off, and today which is day 4, almost all of my nails are completely ruined. This should not happen as Gel Dip Polish should last up to 2-3 weeks. I’ve had this done before at other salons and had never experienced this. Very disappointing.
