I called a few different painters before ultimately choosing Ozzy and the choice was easy. Immediately walking into my home, he was able to identify issues with past paint jobs that former owner's had done as well as other issues with the walls that needed some work in order for the job to look really professionally done. Before his crew came in to start painting, I felt knowledgeable, prepared, and comfortable with him. It was not a "cheap" job but the price was definitely fair for the amount of work he and his crew would be doing. The other painters I received quotes from didn't nearly assess the job to be as large (I do know how much it takes to paint a room having done it myself—this was just a big job), so I knew the quote was accurate for the labor. His crew painted all the walls, trim, baseboards and ceilings. Knowing the job would be incomplete, they also offered to freshly paint the doors and used leftover ceiling paint to fix my bathroom ceilings (the only rooms they weren't hired to touch). Not only did they paint but they fixed 20 years of previous DIY paint jobs and wall damage. Every screw pop, nail hole, and even a large drywall cutout was repaired. They were meticulous in protecting my hardwood floors and left the entire place spotless after sanding and painting my entire home. We were able to also discuss specific paint colors and he made sure each room color was correct before starting. We also regularly met to review the progress and talk about what was happening next (I hadn't moved in yet). The end result was really spectacular. It feels like a brand new home and I told my wife that I probably would've bid $10k higher if it looked this way before we bought it. I've worked with a lot of vendors from a lot of different industries and sometimes people have moments where they feel "off" or can't be bothered. I never felt this way with Ozzy. He painted my home as if it were his own and cared deeply about the results. I'd trust him with any paint job in the future.
Ozzy and his crew did an amazing job painting the exterior of our house. First of all, Ozzy clearly has a lot of experience, and he believes in doing the job right. He is also very personable. He was great about communicating, from the initial estimate/ walk through to the phone calls/ text check-ins during the job to the final walk through and review. We were told the job would take approximately 5 days. Ultimately, we had to add a couple of things we didn’t originally plan on doing, but they still finished in only 4 days. You could tell the crew takes pride in what they do. And, we are extremely happy. It looks like a new house. The price was reasonable, but more importantly- the attention to detail and recommendations made by Ozzy based on his experience were the things that drew us to his company.
