Mom was in moderate stage Alzheimer’s Disease and dad needed a break. We heard great things about Home Instead so we reached out. Our entire experience, from scheduling to intake evaluation to caregivers and communication were all top notch. Mom’s caregiver, Jeanie, was so caring. She became mom’s companion. The two would walk together, play cards, pick on dad(!) and just chat. Jeanie became part of our family. As time went on, she confirmed our suspicions, that mom was declining faster. Erin Carroll has been a blessing for our family. She has been providing care for my mother, who is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, and we couldn’t ask for a more compassionate, attentive, and dedicated caregiver. Erin not only assists with my mom’s daily needs but does so with incredible patience and kindness. She treats my mother with respect, making her feel valued and comfortable, which means the world to us during such a challenging time.
