“If I could rate 10 stars I would!!! The place itself has a great vibe, very relaxed, clean, and professional. My haircut was so wonderful. Cheidy was the one who shampooed and gave me my cut. Her attention to detail was amazing. She really spent time to make sure everything was even and looked great. She listened to what I wanted and perfectly executed it. I wish I had the before & after shots to share but Cheidy took them. Would recommend this place to everyone!“

“This is probably premature since this was my first visit to Crystal Nails but I had such a wonderful experience I had to share.I used to do my own nails, but I’ve been busy and haven’t had time. My wife was going to a place that she loved for years. The environment there and the level of care has changed to a point that she won’t go back. She started to go to a salon in Washington Township and really likes the person that has been doing her nails and he does a beautiful job. She surprised me one day and took me to get mine done. She’s been getting hers dipped and told me how durable it is. My nails are thin and crack really easily so the dip sounded perfect. On my first visit I was really excited because it was a new experience for me. We got there and I started to look through the colors to see what I wanted. The lady came to me to tell me to come back but I had just started to look for what I wanted. She was pretty insistent that I follow her. They don’t speak English so it was hard to communicate. I picked something really quick and followed her to my chair. She seemed to rush through the entire process. When we were done I compared my nails to my wife’s and the finish was night and day. Hers were very clean, smooth and where the dip met the cuticle was tapered down very nicely in front of the cuticle. Mine were rough and the dip went over the cuticle. As my nails started to grow you could see how rough the backs were, plus by week two they started to lift off. My wife goes every three weeks so she told me to try a different person. This time we got there a little early so I had a little time to look at colors. I found a nice medium blue that I liked. We went back and I showed the lady the issues I had from my last visit. She didn’t understand a thing I said. When we were done the finish looked a little better then my first visit but the color was uneven, it almost looked like clouds which was cool if that was what I wanted. I tried to explain what was wrong and got nowhere so we left. They started to crack and lift after a week. I told my wife that the guy that does her nails does beautiful work but I’m not going back. I started to look for places near where I work since it would be easier to stop on my way home. I looked at a lot of places and checked reviews. I always look at the worst reviews to see what problems people had. Every bad review I looked at from many different salons were so similar that they didn’t matter. I just picked one that had decent ratings that was convenient to get to. I picked Crystal Nails mainly because I passed them on my way home and the way that they designed their salon was very welcoming. I had no problem making an appointment. When I walked in, I told the gentleman behind the counter that I was here for my 5pm appointment. He apparently likes to joke around which I liked because I’m a silly person that likes to enjoy life. He sent Yana over to me and she asked me to pick a color. I told her what I wanted and showed her a picture. She went through the colors with me to find something that I liked. We sat down at her station and she went to get the jar of dip. I look at it and the color looked a lot lighter than the sample. She asked the girl next to her and she said that it would get darker as the layers build. While my nails were soaking, Yana took a glue on nail from her bin and proceeded to apply the dip to see how it looked. She went through the whole process to show me the finished product. It was definitely lighter than the sample in the book. She went back to get the book and she helped me pick a new color. I watched as she meticulously went through each step from preparation to application. She did things that the other place didn’t do and they made sense. I am extremely happy with the results and she was very patient, pleasant and friendly. Again, this review is early so I hope her work holds up. I can’t comment on anyone else there but I am looking forward to my next visit with Yana.“
