I contacted Echelon for my daughter’s behind the wheel program. They cover multiple counties and they were able to provide service in Atlantic County. My daughter‘s instructor, Scott H was communicative, prompt and patient. My daughter completed her training in 2 3hr sessions, with two weeks off in between. After finishing her last lesson, she felt much more confident, experienced driving in a variety of situations, such as neighborhoods, County roads, and highways like the Garden State Parkway. I spent two hours with the instructor named Sandy. She was very pleasant, very informative and patient with me. She made sure I was comfortable with whatever task I was doing before we moved onto the next one. I highly recommend this place!
My family's experience with this school was pretty bad. With my three 16-year-olds, the (different) instructors always cut the lessons short, so we only got at best 4.5-5 hours out of 6 paid. When we were getting ready for our trip to Europe, my husband took manual shift lessons with the school. Upon renting a car in Europe, it became clear that the only thing the instructor cared about was the car not being abused by a novice manual shift driver, so he didn't teach my husband pretty much anything.
