I have tried to have Mr. Torres cut my hair several times, month after month. I finally gave up on him since he is busy with his regular clientele.. But, that is OK, out of necessity, on day his mom cut my hair, and from that day she is my barber. Looks like she has her own followers!

I found my new barber in the area. Maissel might be the best deal around. A very experienced barber, who does a solid cut, at a very good price, about $12-15 depending on what he does. And because he's experienced, he does good work really fast. With no wait, I think I was in and out in about 20 minutes (even with finishing a guy right before me). I had a haircut from a different place that I didn't like, and lived with it for a month, so it was great to have him kinda "fix the damage" and make it good. I've been in the area for a year, and really wish I knew about this, especially since it's right next to my favorite Mexican spot La Piedra del Sol. Can be kinda hidden...read full review

Maisel has been giving me a haircut since I was about 10 years old. Im 28 now and still going here. Very professional, great attitude, and most of all actually gives great haircuts. Will actually be going to give my son his first haircut with him this week.
