I was referred to Uprite Medical due to a spinal injury and a long list of unexplainable medical conditions. For almost 3 years, I had been suffering from nerve damage, lost of most left arm function, extreme temperature changes, and spontaneous muscle spasms, to name a few. After consulting with surgeons and specialists in multiple states. Dr Tawfik reviewed my case and, through thorough testing and scans, presented an option for recovery. Unexpectedly, I noticed an immediate difference the moment I woke up following the surgery. Months later, I can still say I am truly grateful to him and his team.
My daughter became a patient of Dr. Tawfik when after a life threatening Car accident she sustained a C2 fracture. After examining her and looking at her CT scans and MRI. He determined that surgery may not be necessary although other doctors were recommending the surgery. Because the well being of his patients comes first, my daughter has recovered from her fracture without the need for surgery. He's a very knowledgeable doctor who cares about his patients first and foremost. His staff is thoughtful and kind and a pleasure to communicate with and Miriam is so kind and helpful that there are not enough words to describe the experience with this office. Dr. Tamir Tawfik is the reason my son is alive and well and on his way back to a full recovery. You see my son Logan suffered a severe spinal injury during a high school football game this year and by many accounts should be paralyzed from the neck down, but due to the swift expert actions of Dr. Tawfik my son is a walking miracle. My family will forever be thankful for his professional and caring approach.
