About Save Barnegat Bay

Save Barnegat Bay is an organization dedicated to restoring and protecting Barnegat Bay and its ecosystem. It serves as a strong and independent voice for the Bay. The group does absolutely amazing work to help save the bay from damage caused by development. Its eco center is beautiful and a great place for the family, good for a walk with cool little trails behind it. The center offers informative workshops, such as a rain barrel class, which are highly recommended and help build confidence for personal projects.

I attended the rain barrel workshop this week and could not recommend it highly enough. The eco center is beautiful. Graceanne was a great teacher. She was kind, helpful, and informative. I now have the confidence to make my own rain barrels moving forward.

Last night, we went to see an outdoor theatre production of "Hair" at the Eco center. The show was fabulous, and the Eco center itself is truly a gem of an outdoor space, tucked away in the woods of Toms River, just off Route 37. My friends and I were just delighted to discover this place. You will be, too.
