My older home's chimney required a metal liner prior to replacing the gas water heater and the boiler. Rob, from Chimney Sweeps Unlimited, noticed an issue at his initial inspection, which he resolved right away, and determined that the flue size was undersized as built, resulting in removal of the old flue tile prior to installation of the new metal liner with an adequate cross sectional area. He also installed a metal liner to replace my fireplace flue. Both jobs required scaffolding which was well done insofar as it did not rely on the older extended porch roof for support, which I appreciated. I would recommend them highly.
