I had to replace an alternator in my old (25 year) Oldsmobile. I checked out several places that I could walk to in my neighborhood and another via phone that was recommended by a friend. All were busy and couldn't get to the car for a day or to. Even though it was mid afternoon, Desmond at A&H said he could order the part and get it done by the end of the day. Not only that, but he was less expensive and much nicer than any of the others. Today I stopped in because I was given an outrageous estimate by Midas regarding a tire I'd purchased from them 5 months ago. It only had 4,000 miles on it and was worn down to the steel belt. Excellent and efficient service at a stunningly low price. They diagnosed my car's bad wheels and fixed everything for half of what I thought it would cost in only 2 days of work.
