Virtua Primary Care - Medford

Been going here my entire life, well before the current regime. The doctors are fine, and the Nurse Practitioner is great. Unfortunately the office staff falls well short of anything I would consider acceptable. No one returns phone calls even after multiple voicemails. I finally opted to switch my primary care physician due to the lack of response.
Love this office!! Staff is always great! And they always fit me in the same day if needed! Stephanie is amazing she is the sweetest and most understanding physician I've ever been too! And for someone like myself who is very anxious about visiting any doctors office she makes me very comfortable and is so easy to talk too! 10/10 recommend this office!!
I'm battling Lyme Disease, CIRS (mold illness), and MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity) and I see a doctor who focuses on illnesses like those. However, I needed a primary care provider too. Other patients with my illnesses like mine recommended TFM to me as being both an open-minded and compassionate primary care practice. I've seen Dr. Parag Patel two or three times, but mostly see PA Stephanie Phillips. I'm pretty sure Dr. Patel is functional medicine literate. At least, he was very familiar with testing that I'd had done by a functional medicine doctor back in Texas. And, Stephanie, she's just awesome. Besides being open-minded and compassionate, she's also knowledgeable and doesn't rush you. Also, this practice takes my Horizon NJ Health insurance. Many places don't. To be clear, this isn't a perfect practice (thus four stars instead of five) and you'll still have to see someone else if you have diagnoses like mine. But at least you can be honest with them about what you're up against without being mocked and/or chastised. I believe that to be an absolutely essential thing, regardless of what you're battling.
