Over a year ago, I fell and hurt my hip and leg. I dealt with the pain for a very long time until it became unbearable. I went to an orthopedic doctor and said it was not my hip, but possibly a pinched nerve in my back. He sent me to get an MRI and confirmed that it was a pinched nerve. He suggested I get a shot of cortisone, but I refused. After a few months the pain got worse, so I went back I did get a shot of cortisone, which only lasted a few months. The pain returned, but this time with severe pain that kept me up all night and numbness in my toes.
