K2 Cleaners

Just a heads-up to anyone considering K2 Cleaners: I had a really upsetting experience. I brought in a brand-new, $289 cream-colored horse show shirt for its first cleaning — and it was returned with clear bleach damage. The collar is now ringed in bright white with visible drip marks, and the shirt is completely ruined.

When I went back to show them, the owner refused to acknowledge anything was wrong. She said she couldn’t see the damage (it’s very obvious), wouldn’t discuss how it might’ve happened, and when I asked about insurance coverage, she just kept repeating “no all done.”

I never would have imagined myself turning into that particular customer, but this morning brought out the worst in me.

If any of you have gone to K2 Cleaners in Beckett, I suggest you steer clear of them. I dropped off a suit to get cleaned/pressed for a dinner this week, and I went to pick up this morning. I came to find out that she gave my suit jacket to another person. She switched the jackets, so his is still there, and mine is at his house.

She had me call the customer instead of her doing it. I spoke to them (and they were very nice), and they will be checking when they get home.

Been coming here for 10 years and when I returned to check about a brand new shirt that was not returned when I picked up my last order, I was laughed at and told there was nothing that could be done. Absolutely floored by this and obviously will not be coming back.Service: Organic dry cleaning
