Cutting my hair since the late 90's. If you are looking for a barber like your dad's barber, a good story or two and great restaurant recommendations, Mario is the one to see.
He is by far hands down the best barber in NJ and possibly in the USA and even the globe. His knowledge is impressive, if they had a Nobel Prize for barbers, he would be the hands down winner!
Mario is a fantastic barber - not a hair stylist. His father was also a barber, also not a hair stylist. He is local to the community and has deep ties here. His clientele is predominantly local. I found him on a trip to LBI. I needed a haircut for an important meeting. I was in-and-out in 30 minutes. The cut was great and he pointed me in the direction of a few local gems for food, etc. He is appointment only, and books up for good reason. I got lucky on a cancellation. If you are particular about your barber, and need a good cut, Mario is your guy.
