Our dog went to "Floof" (formerly planet poodle) for YEARS without a negative comment or feedback from any of the groomers. We spent thousands at this business and we're loyal clients. After moving we had to switch as it was just too far. For the past several MONTHS we have been trying to get him back into Floof. A multitude of unanswered emails, phone calls and texts until we finally got an appointment. Today at 9:30am I got a call to cancel his 11am appointment because the groomers are too "inexperienced" to handle him and he's "difficult" according to the notes in his file. As an owner of top conformation show dogs, I was searching for additional award-winning groomers. I received a real song and dance routine from the owner, Beth -- I think that's her name. Without even knowing me or my dogs, she makes an egregious demand that I take my latest import to her facility bi-weekly for at least $275+ per session. Question: Does bi-weekly translate into twice weekly? A person doesn't require a university degree from at least a top university like the Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey to know that bi-weekly means twice per week. Correct? So at times I can be difficult to handle . Specifically when it involves family or our animals . Been going for 7+ years to the snootiest dog groomer on the jersey shore . We have 2 of our dogs groomed every 4 weeks @ $200 per. Yes, I have ( the Italian side) told them, if they hurt one of my dogs that I will kill their entire family but , that's all In jest . So got this message today proving that I shouldn't have waisted the $1000's of dollars and starting a new groomer on Saturday. Moral of the story , be nice but it's always all about the money lol proud to be white trash w a couple bucks Never though would I send a client this text. Great Grooming... read full review
