“This review is long over due, but if I'm being honest I was trying to keep Linda a secret so I never had to battle for an appointment with her, because she is THE BEST! I first went to The Hair Parlour after purchasing a Groupon back in 2021, coming in with box dyed burgundy hair that I did myself all throughout quarantine. I had my appointment set with Linda, told her I was looking to find a way to get back to my natural color but with some enhancements. I don't know how she did it, but I walked out of that salon looking like a brand new person. Since then Linda has been the only person to touch my hair for cuts, coloring, or highlights and she will be the only person to do so from here on out! I randomly get stopped in ladies rooms at restaurants and stores to ask me where I go to get my hair done, being told "I am a hair dresser myself and I have never seen highlights and coloring so beautifully blended!". Not only is she an expert at what she does, but she is an absolute delight to sit and talk with, she makes everyone feel welcomed and comfortable! My husband now goes to Linda for his haircuts and claims he has also found his holy grail stylist and has never had a better barber experience. “Dana, the business owner, went above and beyond in making sure I was ready for my big day. She was always very communicative and offered advice when I had questions. When I wasn't sure if my hotel would have enough space to get ready in for my wedding, she coached me on alternative options and started going on AirBnB herself to find me a place that would work. The hotel ended up working out, but I could tell that Dana genuinely cared / felt responsible for ensuring I had an amazing wedding day experience. Her professionals who did hair and makeup for me, bridesmaids, and the moms were great and everyone looked incredible! It was super hot and humid and we were crying (happy tears haha) so much, and the makeup survived it all! You can't go wrong with Beautiful Brides. Seriously. (Also, very reasonable prices!!!)“

Absolutely amazing experience!

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was just beautiful. This Black-owned salon is filled with such positive energy — all the ladies were so joyful, funny, and kind. It’s truly inspiring to see Black women come together, work in harmony, and genuinely enjoy what they do. The vibes were peaceful and full of love.

The whole time I was there, it was just laughter! My jaw was hurting leaving that place — that’s how much fun we were having!

My hairstylist, Destini, is such a darling. She was so sweet, attentive, and really took her time to make sure my hair came out perfect. You can tell she truly loves what she does.

Not only that, but they go above and beyond with free drinks, snacks, and top-notch service. Everything about my visit was perfect — I left feeling pampered, joyful, and uplifted. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this salon to everyone I know! ?“

“Let me start by saying this salon is AMAZING my hair was matted. SEVERELY matted, almost DREADED whichever is worse! It took two people just to get a brush through it! These women were so understanding and non judgmental and the results were AMAZING with just a little patience and time these women got me results that I didn’t believe were possible, with minimal cutting(literally like less than an inch) I left the salon looking like a completely different person. I will go back over and over and if you were looking for a review to convince you to go here THIS IS THE ONE I thought I was going to lose all my hair and these amazing ladies saved it all I could have cried.“
