My dad passed away unexpectedly, and we chose Cusick in a hurry without having the chance to look at other funeral homes. Looking back, I’m so grateful we did. Lauren and her team were truly exceptional—their professionalism, compassion, and kindness helped my family navigate an incredibly difficult time with genuine care and comfort. We’ll always be thankful for the warmth and dignity they brought to such a painful moment.

Lauren and her team were outstanding. My wife's brother Pete. selected Lauren and her team because of the warmth and genuine concern they had for my father in law who passed. My wife Anne and our entire family could not have received better treatment. It's the small things that count like the snacks they had for the family during the visitation and before the funeral that added a thoughtful touch. Everything was thought out with care, kindness and compassion. They are women owned and you can really tell the difference. Also, we had a brief visit from their dog Hercules. I can’t thank Lauren and the team at Cusick Funeral Home enough. After a disappointing first call to another funeral home that felt cold and salesy, speaking with Lauren was a huge relief. She was compassionate, knowledgeable, and walked us through everything with patience and care.
She clearly explained our options, helped with legal details, and even suggested helpful local services when we needed them. The service itself was beautiful—calm, clean, and respectful. There was space to display my mom’s photos and needlepoint, which meant a lot to our family.
