I recently visited Optim Eyes for an exam and unfortunately had a frustrating experience due to insurance confusion. I had recently switched insurance plans, and when I arrived for my appointment, I noticed a sign at the desk stating that contact lens fittings would cost between $100–$150. That caught my attention, so I immediately called my insurance provider right there in Optim Eyes before my appointment began. I was advised to find an in-network location so I would not have to pay the out-of-network price for the contact fitting. I accidentally skewed my metal frame, and tried my luck coming here, hoping I can pay for a frame fix. The staff was really friendly, she quickly fixed my frame for free, thank you so much!

I was on the phone today 6/20/24 with my insurance company for an unrelated issue & I inquired about the turnaround time for the specific glasses they were making. Needless to say, I was not pleased when I was informed bill for the eye exam on 6/3 had been submitted but they didn't receive anything for eyeglasses and suggested that I call the office, which I had every intention of. When I called u got a recorded message that they would be back in the office on 6/24. They could put the $200.00 deposit through on my charge card and bill for services rendered, but they didn't bother to submit the prescription for my glasses. Not good business... read full review
