“Have been seeing Dr. Schmidt for about 28 years. He is the best and most qualified glaucoma specialist/surgeon and we are lucky to have him on the east coast. I was sent to him by another glaucoma surgeon who said there was no other specialist better than Dr. Schmidt. He is very patient and does not rush his appointments; so you may have to wait a little longer in his office at times, but isn't having the best worth waiting a little for? My eyesight is sure worth it!!“

“Dr. Margolis is hands down the best doctor I've ever come across. I was sent to Dr. Margolis when we realized I had a retinal detachment in my mid 20s so this was 2011-2014 range. The initial assessment was very uncomfortable and was being performed by a young female doctor who I believe was doing some sort of rotation? She wasn't one of the permanent doctors. She kept becoming frustrated with me and was making the process even more unbearable (I had been there for hours). Dr. Margolis came in and did an assessment no problem - he was very caring, warm, and compassionate from the start. He understood the discomfort. I remember being scared the young female doctor was going to perform my surgery, and I actually heard her throw a bit of a fit in the hall when Dr. Margolis told her he would be performing my surgery. I am so so so grateful for that. Over a decade later, my scleral buckle is still in excellent shape. I have never met another doctor with such incredible bedside manner. I now live in another state, but my new retinal specialist says Dr. Margolis did an excellent job.“

“This review is for the Ocean City office. The office is open at 8am, despite the 9am listing on Yelp and Quality Eye Center website. 1. Last minute (semi-urgent) appointment for ongoing eye issue no problem (granted this is early post-season) 2. Staff was very friendly and helpful (if not a bit overwhelmed) 3. Dr Miller was fantastic. Friendly and assertive - **and very patient** - walked through every step and even pulled up images to show what he was seeing His prognosis was astute and thoughtful, and prescription clear and thorough. (clearly someone who has "seen" it all) Although the medication was the same, the course of treatment was slightly different and (IMHO) more considered toward a solution. At any rate, Dr. Miller and team will be my eye specialists going forward...“
