I've been going to this salon for over ten years. My experience has been very good. The owner, Melina, keeps a record of what was done with my hair at each visit. That makes me feel very good; because it reassures me she'll know what I will need at the next visit, in case I forget.I do not find her prices to be unreasonable, especially if you have shoulder length hair or longer. It takes more product and time to care for longer hair.On average, I'll pay $50 for a basic "Wash & Set" for my relaxed hair. Wow! I just had the most amazing, calm, thorough experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon! The owner is such a sweet, honest, and KNOWLEDGEABLE stylist. I have struggled my whole life with my hair. I’ve worn it natural for several years now and refused to straighten it because it’s so fine and thin. I was always convinced my hair could not be worn in that style. This stylist did what had to be done! From start to finish! She washed my hair thoroughly (I almost fell asleep at the wash station haha), she made note of my hair type and it’s issues (dry, brittle, breaking off, uneven, you name it), she asked all the right questions.
