“What a breath of fresh air!! I've been there in the past, but just never went back. My feet also needs more attention.Well, today, I went back after being told from my regular salon, that my regular lady is booked. I've been hearing this for a month and I had to find somewhere today.I called up & not only werethey available. The price was right!I met Hermi(?) who did my feet first. Very fast, including giving me callous remover without an extra charge.Did my nails ok. I was in & out. Since my feet needs extra attention, I may need to work with them in between visits. But no long lines, no chemical smells. No extra fee for using your debit card & no tax. The price was very reasonable. I will be back.For the customer who claims it is for elderly people and they are old fashioned. She is not used to what life was before all the bell & whistles.It is refreshing to go get an old fashioned mani & pedi without being pressured to do gel or added money for everything. “I started going to Shaggy five years ago upon a friend's recommendation, and have been seeing Yossi for cut and highlights. The salon is great, and Yossi is the BEST! I find his cut to be very chic and sophisticated, and I constantly get compliments. Both men and women take notice, and most are strangers on the street. Likewise for the color. He's created a beautiful, sexy warm-tone caramel color with subdued highlights.His thin highlights were placed carefully on the layers to accent the cut.Shaggy Hair Studio is warm, friendly and clean, appointments run on-time, but because the location is not convenient for me, I've tried other salons from time to time. NO ONE has been able to reproduce Yossi's cut. His ability to layer hair and work with clients' facial structure to enhance one's looks are what sets him apart from others. I am an artist myself, and see the incredible skill and talent he has. With only one head of hair, it remains my GO TO salon!Update-Having left the Salon during Covid, I only recently returned after 3 years. I tried many other salons, and never received a compliment for my haircut in those years. Yet just upon returning home after my visit, I was stopped immediately in my doorway and complimented to my surprise!“

“I willingly drive almost 4.5 hrs each way to get my hair done here after I moved out of the area!! Each and every time I come here I leave feeling absolutely wonderful. Normally J does my hair but she wasn't available......... yet I didn't hesitate to book with Angela as I have confidence that J on Madison only has the best of the best!! Angela was simply OUTSTANDING!! She took the time to talk to me to find out what I was looking for and made some suggestions based on my fine hair. She absolutely knocked it out of the park!!! My highlights and cut exceeded my expectations and I absolutely LOVE the results!! I cannot recommend her highly enough!! She took time to listen to my needs, review photos and discuss options to update my hair of 7 months’ growth and much gray.I was thrilled with the result and felt very certain that I have found a new salon for myself. It is clean, cheerful and bright. The staff are professional and welcoming. Covid precautions are taken seriously with temp check, questionnaire and hand sanitizer application on entering.I have a completely updated style that will match my needs for low maintenance and the color was a brilliant choice to work with my complexion and use the gray for dimension with a new color that makes it appear like highlights!The price was very reasonable and I have nothing to say to detract from an outstanding first visit with a head of hair greatly in need!Thank you, Marzana!“
